Dr. Haritha Koganti is an extremely dedicated and well versed neurologist catering to the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. She has always been fascinated by the most beautiful and complex organ in the human body, the brain and has made sure to address every individual patient as a new and unique case because every single brain functions in a different way. Dr.Haritha attained her MBBS from Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences, Narketpally, Nalgonda and later went on to complete her MD (General Medicine) from the same institute. Having had a single minded objective to master the matters of the mind, she completed her DM(Neurology) from JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru. Having been trained by some of the very best in the field, Dr.Haritha aims not just to diagnose and treat the neurological conditions but also intends to bring about awareness on how to identify neurological symptoms in order to act upon them quickly.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Worked for 1 year under renowned neurologist, Dr. Mohandas S (Professor and HOD of Neurology dept. in KIMS) after completion of DM.
- Trained under eminent Professor Dr HARSHA SUNDARAMURTHY for 3 years in DM NEUROLOGY.
- Thrombolysed more than 150 cases, Trained in Neurophysiology and participated in monthly epilepsy clinic.
- Worked at Gandhi Hospital as senior resident in General Medicine Department for 1 year.
- Trained at NIMHANS in Neuropathology, Neuroradiology & Neurophysiology for 6 months.
PRESENTATIONS AND PUBLICATIONS:
- Publication about The impact of idiopathic generalised epilepsy on executive functions published in the ANNALS OF NEUROSCIENCES.
- Publication about Executive dysfunction in idiopathic epilepsy: The journey so far, In the International journal of research in medical sciences.
- Presented a paper on epilepsy at KNACON.
